Kerr Cultural Center, which is owed and
operated by ASU Public Events, is a uniquely intimate and acoustically-superior
venue. Its 270 seat studio, located in what is now the heart of
north Scottsdale, was built in 1959 originally as Mrs. Louise Lincoln
Kerr's private music studio, in what was then the middle of the
desert. Mrs. Kerr's private residence, built in the late 1940's
and located next door, now houses Kerr's administrative offices.
